Medicinsk kvalitet

Udvælgelse af kvalificerede radiologer

Telekonsults radiologer rekrutteres og udvælges på baggrund af deres uddannelse, erfaring og subspecialer. Deres CV samt to referencer kontrolleres, ligesom deres autorisation, certificering og kriminelle baggrund kontrolleres. Endelig udvælger vores medicinske konsulent de bedste kandidater

Onboarding og introduktion

Før den nye radiolog begynder sit arbejde, deltager denne i et onboarding-program, hvor Teleconsults arbejdsmetoder, rapporteringsprotokoller og forskellige it-platforme forklares. Desuden forklares kvalitetssikringsprogram for den nye kandidat. En måned efter arbejdsstart afholdes opfølgningsmøde, hvor radiologen kan give feedback om de første arbejdsoplevelser samt stille spørgsmål til nye arbejdsmetoder eller til vores kvalitetssikringsprogram.

Kvalitetssikring

I løbet af de første par måneder af ansættelsen superviseres den nye radiologs arbejder for at sikre kvaliteten af beskrivelserne. Det foregår ved en gennemgang af tilfældigt udvalgte beskrivelser. Disse stikprøver foretages udover vores standard medicinske revisioner og præstationsvurderinger som er beskrevet nedenfor.

Revisioner og præstationsvurderinger

Som en del af vores kvalitetssikringsprogram vurderes radiologernes beskrivelse løbende ved hjælp af interne revisioner. Er der uoverensstemmelse, udarbejdes der et tillæg, og er det klinisk relevant, informeres hospitalet straks. Efterfølgende bliver læringspunkterne sendt tilbage til den enkelte radiolog. Med jævne mellemrum reflekterer vores medicinske konsulent og Medical Quality Group over resultaterne og definerer ændringer, forbedringer eller forebyggende foranstaltninger, hvor det er relevant. Resultaterne meldes retur til de henvisende hospitaler hvert kvartal. Eventuelle afvigelser, som de henvisende klinikere rapporterer, analyseres og anvendes ligeledes til at forbedre kvaliteten af vores beskrivelser.

Læring

Ved gentagne uoverensstemmelser eller ved medicinske hændelser (f.eks. en fejl), der indebærer et muligt læringselement, bliver sagen altid taget op af den lægefaglige konsulent og læringspunkter videreformidles til radiologerne i form af periodiske undervisningssessioner. I akutte tilfælde sendes straks en e-mail til alle radiologer med information om hændelsen i forhold til hvad der skete og hvad vi kan lære af det.

Samarbejde radiologer imellem

Vi stræber efter at skabe et tillidsfuldt og behageligt arbejdsforhold, da vi er af den opfattelse, at radiologer, der føler sig både værdsat samt godt behandlet, leverer et bedre stykke arbejde. Vi holder kontakt igennem regelmæssige individuelle møder og giver derved radiologerne mulighed for at give udtryk for deres tilfredshed med deres arbejde generelt, IT-systemerne, planlægningen samt den operationelle og tekniske support. De forslag, ideer og anden feedback, som vi modtager på disse møder, er uvurderlig for os. Uden den kunne vi ikke forbedre os, og gøre Teleconsult til den bedste samarbejdspartner.

Kompetencer og kvalitet er essentielt. En nøjagtig, tydelig og nuanceret radiologisk beskrivelse er patientens ret. I min rolle som lægefaglig chef er målet at sikre et arbejdsmiljø, hvor dygtige kollegaer hjælper hinanden gennem vidensdeling og faglig udvikling. Beskrivelser til tiden

Både vores kunder og deres patienter er afhængige af, at vores beskrivelser leveres rettidigt. Teleconsult vigtigste opgave er at undgå forsinkede beskrivelser pga. manglende kapacitet eller IT-problemer. Det gør vi ved at have en grundig og effektiv planlægning af vores team af radiologer. Kommunikation, planlægning og kompetence ligesom vores IT-systemer og god support er afgørende for dette.

Maksimal støtte

Vores servicedesk er din indgang for alle spørgsmål og feedback. Service Desk-teamet videresender dig hurtigt til den rette drifts- eller IT-ekspert, der kan besvare dit medicinske eller tekniske spørgsmål.

Informationssikkerhed og databeskyttelse

Vi har i alle processer integreret et informationssikkerhedssystem som er i overensstemmelse med ISO 27001. Det har til formål at forhindre hændelser vedrørende patientsikkerhed, informationstilgængelighed samt fuld integritet og fortrolighed. Backup-internetforbindelser, strømforsyninger og udstyr er tilrettelagt for alle kritiske processer. Alle relevante sikkerhedselementer, såsom kryptering, adgangskontrol og it-styring, revideres af eksterne parter. Datafortrolighed kontrolleres på samme måde og i overensstemmelse med alle relevante lokale bestemmelser om databeskyttelse og patientdata.

Siden 2008 har Teleconsult samarbejdet med hospitaler, klinikker og myndigheder i Skandinavien, Holland og Storbritannien.

Teleconsult er opstået som følge af en fusion mellem Direct Diagnostic Alliance og Teleconsult Europe i 2020.
Med over ti års erfaring inden for teleradiologi har begge virksomheder udviklet individuelle best-practices, som i dag supplerer hinanden og skaber synergier på tværs af den nye organisation.
